GembaDocs has undergone a visual refresh to improve engagement, and align more closely with our vision to empower workforces to thrive.
- New, cleaner interface website and platform
- Updated branding for a more cohesive look
Why: This update is to support our mission to support your calm production flow.
2. GembaDocs Lean Cave (01:30)
A new resource hub has been created to help users easily access valuable Lean content and best practices.
- A curated library of lean videos, guides, courses and case studies
- Access to expert insights with thought leadership pieces, articles and how-tos
- A central place to improve lean knowledge
Why: This resource helps teams quickly find trusted Lean knowledge without searching multiple sources.
3. Training and Skills Matrix Updates (02:35)
The Skills Matrix now provides expanded capabilities to track and develop employee skills more effectively.
- Clearer training paths for individual development
- Integrated tracking for monitoring skill growth
- PDF copy download option added
- QR code to scan and access the skills matrix (you don’t need to be logged into view either)
Coming soon: ability to create skills matrixes in the mobile app
Why: This ensures employees stay up to date with necessary skills while making training management more efficient.
4. A bundle of platform improvements! (05:25)
New improvements to how standard operating procedures (SOPs) are created, tracked, stored, and accessed. Many of these updates are from user feedback, so if you have any improvements or suggestions, we’re all ears at support@gembadocs.com
- SOP analytics update – visual management and progress update of SOPs and projects
- Folder system update – sub folders for easier organization of SOPs
- Settings update – confidential watermarking for PDFs
- Feedback update – an improvement feedback option that will notify the creator
- Kanban update – filter by Kanban color option added
Why: These enhancements make it easier to keep Kanbans and SOPs organized, up to date, and accessible to the right people.
5. GembaDocs Support Hub (08:00)

New central hub for users to learn through how-to GembaDoc guides and videos, troubleshoot common questions, and get in touch with our customer success team.
